Hadn’t played here in nearly 20 years, but I remembered it as an okay course. As it turns out, okay was generous. Tee boxes were spotty, some okay but others not so good. All the greens were in good shape, as were most of the bunkers. Fairways and rough, however, were awful. Weedy, bare in a lot of spots. Overwatered in some areas and underwatered in others. Overall, this course is not worth the $40 green fees. $25 maybe, but definitely not $40.

I think 3 stars might be a gift here. Played 9-8-25 in the morning. Tee-Time made 2 weeks early. My 1st time playing here. Not Crowded. Only the back nine was open (we played it 2x), and the Pro-Shop Manager said all Tee-Times were called and made aware of the front nine closure for aeration. We were definitely not called. I enjoyed the back nine holes. The greens were real good. The fairways were below average, with a large percentage of dead/no grass. Tee-Boxes were ok. We drove 45 minutes to play. Senior Rate was $40. PSM stated that $46 is the regular rate. Also, after we were done, unshod, and walking out, the PSM offered for us to play 5 or 6 holes on the front...too little too late.

One of the first courses I ever went to with my Dad, and Dave Finnerty, all they let me use was a 10 iron, and a persimmon 1 wood, this was when they first opened in the way early 70's, all the Tee markers were Rainer beer cans, still have the 2 clubs. For the last 15 years I have been unable to play due to physical disability, that most recently got fixed, thank you Orthopedic One, and am getting back into the game. Today however was not granted access due to excessive water, very bummed, but will get back eventually and have a memory or two. Have to say what I saw the place looks great.

This course has great bones and a lot of potential. They are struggling as many right now. Fairways have some really rough areas, according to them its from flooding. Rough is hard pan, dry and sparse grass. Because apparently we're in a drought. That said the greens roll true and quick. If you want it to hold the green though you better hit it high and land it soft. The design as a ton of potential with a few minor tweaks. An old dead tree directly in front of your teebox isn't really a realistic challenge. Im all for having to play a short club to not run out a fairway or hit into trouble. But having to punch out on a tee shot to avoid the massive mostly dead tree really isn't well thought out. Staff is super friendly. Carts are a little dated and the course could use some cart path repairs (its not total CP and it's gravel) as some of the areas will loosen your fillings. All in all its a fine course. Its a little overpriced at the current condition though.
