We had a nice tour of the venue we are having our reunion there. They were very helpful and shared information with answers all of our questions. We decided after our visit to have our reunion their.

Was there for a wedding reception. Food & service was all very good. Kay is absolutely the best in everything she does there.

I stopped by Ohio valley golf center golf shop to get some grips on my clubs Dave Carpenter is the owner he works out of the country club clubhouse he's a good guy knows how to fix your clothes right very reasonable price he will do the best you can whenever he has the materials available if not he will get it for you the gokusen so it's private except for on Tuesday and Thursdays which is open to the public it's only a 9-hole course with two different types of teas but it's a very nice course and people there are pleasant as well you would be doing yourself a favor to go there and play and also to have any regripping or club modifications done by Dave Carpenter at Ohio valley

My Dad and I played nine holes at East Liverpool Country Club today, and we left very disappointed. We had heard the course is now open to the public, and if that's the direction it's going, the course should be presented in a much better condition than what we experienced. Before going we called and were told it would be $20 per person for nine holes with a cart. When we arrived, we were charged $22 per person instead. While it's only a $2 difference, it felt misleading after being quoted a different price over the phone. The gentleman working at the counter was very friendly and courteous, so this isn't a reflection on him. Unfortunately, the course conditions were the biggest disappointment. The fairways were overrun with clover, making them thick and inconsistent while attracting bees. The greens were patchy, noticeably longer than they should have been, and very slow. Most of the sand bunkers were very hard, which is sometimes understandable, but not one rake was provided to even rake it ourselves. The tee boxes were by far the worst part of the course. Many were extremely patchy, covered with clover, and had many areas of dirt, lots of sand, and even small rocks where we were expected to tee off. Tee boxes and greens are some of the most important areas of any golf course and the easiest to maintain, and these simply were not kept up to any acceptable standard, at all. What would have gone a long way is simple honesty. If the course is currently struggling and working to get back to where it wants to be, just tell customers that when they call or check in. Explain that the course is in rough shape, that improvements are being made, and price it accordingly while those improvements are underway. Most golfers are understanding when people are upfront with them. Being honest about the conditions builds trust, and that honesty goes a long way. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we won't be back.
