Parking lot is gravel and holey. Most of the cart paths are in in desperate need of repair. Military discount was $5, just glad they offered one. The most important thing is the course smells like sewage for a majority of the holes. The half way house was amazing! They had all the toppings for a hot dog or sausage.

What a tough course. The cart paths were awful, but the course was nice. Leave your driver at home if you cant hit it straight.

I recently played a round at Fox Fire Golf Course and felt compelled to leave a review specifically for the grounds crew — these folks deserve serious recognition! The course is in absolutely immaculate shape. From the first tee to the 18th green, it's clear that an incredible amount of care, skill, and hard work has gone into conditioning every inch of this place. The fairways were lush and well-manicured, the greens were smooth and true, and the rough was perfectly maintained. It's evident that the team has put in long hours to get the course playing this well. What really stood out to me was how thoughtfully the course had been set up. The crew clearly understands the game and has shaped the conditions to provide a fantastic experience for golfers of all skill levels. Every detail — from the bunker edges to the tee boxes — reflected a high standard of professionalism and pride in their work. A huge thank you to the entire grounds crew at Fox Fire. You are the unsung heroes of any great golf experience, and you are absolutely crushing it. If you're looking for a course in phenomenal shape, look no further. We had a great experience at Foxfire, and I wanted to specifically shout out Kelley at the halfway house. She brought such a positive energy to our group right when we needed it making the turn on 9. Super friendly, attentive, and just overall great to be around. It honestly elevated the whole vibe of the round. Little things like that make a big difference, and Kelley definitely stands out. Appreciate her taking care of us! Foxfire is lucky to have her.

Fair and fun test of golf. Challenging layout and overall good conditions. Carts were in good shape. Bunkers were in good condition and playable considering all the rain.
