Called on a Monday morning to ask if they had room for a single or double at 10 AM, the gentleman that answered was extremely short and rude said “I have no way of doing that without a cancellation” which is completely understandable, I said I understand thank you and he hung up on me. I don’t understand how some people are given the responsibility of customer service and don’t understand it. My organization with Ohio State is using this course for a Golf Scramble at the end of the month and we had high expectations for a future partnership. I guess they don’t want that.

Played here this past weekend and was genuinely shocked how great shape it was in. Course is so pure and the hots dogs at the turn are comparable to some of the best I’ve ever had. Brand new carts with GPS which is cool, I will say (the reason for my 4 star review) the bunkers are unplayable. If they put a little money in for real sand and maintained them this would be the best value course in Columbus.

It was wet so you had to stay on the cart path. No problem. The issue was the cart would just shut down and say you were off the cart path. Which we weren't. The clowns in the clubhouse could not figure out how to disable the defective program.

Raymond Memorial Golf Course is a decent municipal course overall and about what you’d expect for a busy public track in Columbus. The layout has a few interesting holes and enough variety to keep it from feeling completely repetitive, but it’s definitely not an overly difficult. Conditions are usually acceptable for the price, though not always super consistent depending on the time of year. The biggest issue here is almost always pace of play. Rounds can drag pretty badly, especially on weekends, and it takes away from the overall experience. Still, if you want an affordable public course to get out and play, it serves its purpose and is worth keeping in the rotation.
