Oakwood Country Club was a prominent Cleveland area course that evolved from a 9 hole layout in 1906 to a full 18 by the mid 1910s. For generations it served as a social and sporting hub, remembered for classic architecture and a sophisticated membership culture. The club ultimately closed in 2010 after more than a century of operation, and the property was later repurposed. Even so, Oakwood's history looms large in Northeast Ohio golf, referenced in archives and neighborhood histories. Ask long time golfers in the region and you'll still hear stories about its greens, its gatherings, and the stature it held.

No tee times as membership is small. Wonderful people. Can get out with my young children to learn golf anytime I want. Course is short and greens are small so iron play is greatly improved. Absolutely love this place!

If you are looking to learn or hone your short game around amazing people, this is your place. This is NOT a posh club. It's a friendly club to play a quick 9.
