I played Cossett Creek after several days of constant and heavy rain. Though there were a few spots of standing water, the course held up very well all things considered. The round started with a very friendly gentleman in the shop who asked if it was my first time playing the course. When I said yes he was gracious enough to come out to the cart with me and give me an overview of some key points of the course as well as wipe down the cart. The front 9 is much more wide open and where you need to score. The back 9 is more picturesque (see attached) and challenging with many holes nestled amongst the woods. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape despite the past rain. The greens had a few worms come up from the rain and a rough spot here and there on a few edges, but rolled well. Several of the greens are turtle backed so aim for the center of the green no matter where the flag is. If the course was completely dried out a few of my approach shots would have rolled off the green. I would definitely play Cossett Creek again!

This course has improved greatly since it was Brunswick Hills. The greens were immaculate. The fairways were cut perfectly and the rough was playable. Very scenic and challenging holes. The creek comes in play at least 8 times or more and lots of uphill and downhill holes. This course wold have been four stars except for their cart paths which used to be asphalt but are now mostly gravel. There is a fair amount of pot holes in the fairways and the clubhouse could use some work. We know that cart paths are expensive so if can overlook this defect this is a must play course.

Forgiving course on the front 9 and a lot more challenging on the back 9. Great for all skill levels. Grass is well maintained with wide fairways on the front 9. Decent club house and the staff were very accommodating.

Clean well kept course. Super friendly staff. I slipped in mud and that offered me a towel to take home. Reasonably priced concessions as well.

Tried to go out with a foursome and my 5 year old wanted to ride in the cart with us for Father’s Day. They refused to let me go out with the other 3 people. I offered to pay double, pay for a 3rd cart, etc. They were also rude about it (to put it lightly). They then proceeded to threaten to kick us off if they saw us on the same hole. At the turn I asked for a refund for the back 9, and again they were rude and disrespectful about it. The course conditions were also terrible and it is overpriced. I will not be going back and would never recommend this course to others. I couldn’t believe how the owner acted. Happy Father’s Day.
