Sweetbriar Golf Course in Avon Lake, Ohio delivered one of the best golf experiences I’ve had in a long time. The course is beautiful, extremely well maintained, and has a great atmosphere that makes the entire day enjoyable. What really stood out to me, though, was one employee who completely changed my view of customer service and honesty. After my round, I realized I had accidentally left the keys to my Lamborghini Aventador — a car worth over $500,000 — along with my Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, valued at more than $30,000, in the storage compartment of the golf cart. My heart dropped the second I noticed they were missing. The employee who cleaned the cart found everything, cleaned off the Rolex before returning it to me, and immediately made sure my belongings were safely returned instead of taking advantage of the situation. What made it even more impressive was how humble he was about it all. Only at the very end did he tell me his name was Chase Penick, saying he didn’t want recognition because he was simply doing the right thing out of the goodness of his heart and in honor of his dog, Ginger, who taught him loyalty. I was so impressed that I even offered him $10,000 to come work for my business, but he respectfully declined because he wanted to stay loyal to Sweetbriar. Employees like him are rare, and he absolutely deserves a raise.

Had a great experience at the course, and a huge part of that was because of Chase Penick. He was incredibly hardworking, helpful, and professional the entire time I was there. You can tell he genuinely cares about keeping the course in great shape and making sure guests have a good experience. Whether he was helping out around the course or answering questions, he always had a great attitude and was willing to help. Employees like Chase really make this place stand out. Definitely appreciated all his work and effort.

I just went golfing for my first time at Sweetbriar golf course and based on my experience I’ll definitely be back. The staff was amazing but particularly someone named Chase was exceptionally kind to me and my family. He made us feel welcomed even though we aren’t the best golfers. Chase also cleaned my clubs and I didn’t even have to ask him. This was definitely my best ever golfing experience.

Golfing at this golf course was a great experience. The course was beautiful and the staff was great. I wanted to especially point out the kid that washes the golf carts down. After my round of golf, I somehow left my golf bag on the back of the cart. To make it even worse, my license fell out of my wallet. This kid tracked me down and gave me all of my stuff back. I thanked him and asked him his name, Chase Penick. I will never forget him and what he did for me. This shows Sweetbriar really takes care of their staff. I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

I had a GREAT experience at sweet briar. First, when I walked in I fell on my face right into the dirt and employee named Chase Penick helped me get up and was so nice. Next I went to the range and he came over and fixed my swing. Then I was playing my round and on the 9th hole Chase Penick showed up again and gave me food and water. This Chase Penick kid should get a raise immediately he is easily the BEST worker at this establishment. Finally after the round I asked him to clean my clubs and he cleaned them all perfectly. I have him a 100$ tip because he is such a good kid. I have a feeling this kid is working for minimum wage, they should really raise his paycheck for how good of an employee he is. I'm not going to stop here though the next day I came back he remembered me and greeted me with a grin on his face. His life must be so sweet and perfect because he is always happy. Next there was a banana peel on the ground, chase had the awareness and jumped on the ground to save me from slipping. I also heard to kid is a great golfer i saw him hitting on the range and he hit the ball 360 yards. This kid is also better looking than any cart girl i have ever seen. Chase gives me hope in this younger generation, thanks you sincerely Chase Penick, I hope I get to see you again.
