Eagle Ridge is one of my favorite places to frequent in Williston. The staff is always so welcoming and they make you feel right at home. The food upstairs is always good and it’s a nice non fast food option that is wallet friendly.

My son came home in tears and as a father, that’s not something you ignore. He told me about the owner of the course flying in on a green golf cart, yelling and cussing at a group of little kids like they had done something terrible. These are boys 6–8 years old. Most didn’t understand they weren’t supposed to be near the driving range because THEY DONT LIVE THERE! And to top it off the golf course is still closed for the season! Instead of handling it like an adult, he chose intimidation. Loud, aggressive, completely out of line and from what I was told, he smelled like he’d been drinking. My son was shaken, and it took time just to calm him down. With a single choice to freak out on a group of children he just made so this business likely lost more business immediately cause kids talk, families talk and friends talk. None of these kids will probably golf going forward... Keep it up! From my understanding, it didn’t stop there, the mother at home was brought to tears as well by this monster of a human. Hes lucky there wasn't a man around at the time! That’s not how you correct kids. That’s not leadership. That’s a grown man losing control in front of children. He needs therapy! A place that should feel safe and welcoming did the exact opposite. My children will never visit this place going forward and I will never golf on this course again.

This course is in absolutely terrible shape, especially considering the price. Be prepared for: fairways with large mud patches, ‘bunkers’ with the consistency of cement, and greens with grass longer than what you would expect in a typical fairway. The one positive is you can use the weeds / dandelions that are growing to help aim your putts. The course is on a beautiful property and has so much potential but it’s clear the level of care is near zero. Please see picture below of chipping ‘green’ for reference

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience at Eagle Ridge Golf Course. Unfortunately, it was not a positive one. The course conditions were well below what I would expect for the price. The fairways had bare patches, and the greens were uneven and slow, which made for a frustrating round. It seemed like regular maintenance and care were lacking. Customer service also left a lot to be desired. The staff we interacted with didn’t seem very welcoming, and when we asked a few questions, the responses were short and dismissive. It didn’t give the impression that guests are valued. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Eagle Ridge if you’re looking for a well-kept course and good customer service. There are other options nearby that offer better value and atmosphere.
