Bowman's municipal nine offers classic small-town hospitality and a relaxed pace. At just under 2,900 yards, it's gettable for straight drivers, yet crosswinds and a few tilted greens keep you honest. The course sits on open ground with views in every direction, so judging distance in the breeze is part of the fun. Practice amenities include a handy driving range and short-game space. It's a comfortable, value-forward loop that locals return to often.

I am giving it a 4 only because it is a nice course. But they turned sprinklers on us for 4 holes. We couldn’t play the last green because they came on. Told office they didn’t care. Maybe sprinkle at the end of the day.
