Effort is definitely being put into making this a better course. It’s still not perfect but I can appreciate the work that is being put in. The greens on the back nine were in perfect shape and fresh sand is starting to show up on more holes, but not all of them yet. The fairways still have a ways to go but I’d find it hard to believe that they would go through all this trouble to perfect the greens and order fresh sand only to not fix the fairways eventually. Went about two weeks ago. This is an amazing layout. We need to make sure in the reviews we call out Fred smith company. Greens are awesome. You can see green side bunkers getting re done. But they are dropping the ball. There is a ton of money off creedmore road. I wish Fred smith would do to olde liberty what they did to eagle ridge. It is begging for attention. But hey. Got get some hot dogs from the vendor (they are amazing) and enjoy a challenging layout Oh and I would recommend walking. The between the holes views are great.

Honest and accurate review. I am giving it four stars because I think that this is a pretty accurately priced course although I would love to see a little bit more work put in, so I guess that would raise the rates. The fairways are awful, but the greens are pretty good actually. When you get a bucket of range balls, 70% of them are at least decent, but there are a good number of balls in your basket that will be looking like the ones in my picture. The layout of this course is fantastic and would be one of the best public courses in the triangle if they put some money into the tee boxes and fairways. this is a good place for beginners and this place has no right to require people to wear collared shirts with the fairway is looking the way they do.

I played in the Town of Youngsville Golf Tournament today at Olde Liberty. Before today, it has been over a years since I have played their since I have moved out of the area. THE COURSE HAS MADE SOME NOTICEABLE AND MUCH NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS. The Greens are great. Major work on the sand traps with many of the green side.bunkers having good sand. Fairways improvement have been the most notable. The old water runs and ruts have been leveled out on most of the holes. Grass covering places in fairways where in the past there was only dirt. Trees and brush cleared. I know the course still needs a lot of work, but you can tell a lot of work has been put into it. Good job team Olde Liberty.

I've played here a few times in the past few months, and I have seen MUCH needed improvements each time I've been here. With that said, there is still a LOT of work to be done. The course definitely has potential to be really nice. The greens are fantastic. Some of the fairways are brutally bad, but again, slowly improving in spots. I look forward to seeing this place can continue to transform.
