RangeDriving Range

Carved through rolling woodland east of downtown, Winston Lake is a classic Ellis Maples municipal course. Narrower driving windows reward confident tee balls, while the greens offer the subtle slopes Maples is known for. Recent green updates improved consistency and added pinning options without changing the feel. It's a locals' favorite for value, walkability, and peaceful scenery around the lake. A practice range (periodically under renovation) and putting green support warm-up needs.

Course was an absolute blast, I’m not one to leave reviews but this place was arguably in my top 3 favorite courses around for the price. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in good condition for the most part. Will be back for sure 👍🏻

I cannot say enough good things about this golf course. I am from out of state and I’ve played quite a few golf courses, but this is one of the best places I have played. It is extremely well maintained, and the employees are beyond nice and very helpful. If you are from the area and haven’t played, you are really missing out.

Greens are CRAP right now. 3 weeks ago they were perfect. Only positive things about the course is the fact it's wide open now with all the trees cut down, the layout is fun.....and the price. Played June 10 2026
