Review is a little late but stayed at the resort for a weekend and played the course on 9/20. First the good was lodging very nice and had a recreation area with pool, fitness center, hot tub and tennis courts that was also nice. Staff were friendly and breakfast at club house was very good. Would consider staying here again. The bad was that the greens on the course were unplayable and shouldn’t be open given their current state. While fairways and tee boxes were in great shape, most greens had little to no grass and were too bumpy to play on; the best ones were the greens that were simply rolled dirt. It’s definitely mountain golf with some steep elevations changes, and could be worth playing once it recovers but I couldn’t recommend playing this until mid next year at the earliest.

We loved our stay! The cabin/condo had everything would need and plenty of space! It was clean and loved the quiet area and easy access to Bryson city! Our only problem to us was at night in dark getting back up to cabin and making right turn but again that was on us'! We will for sure be back! Terri and family

Smoky Mountain Country Club We had such a great day out at Smoky Mountain Country Club today! Played 18 holes with another couple, Josh and Sasha, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The course itself is absolutely beautiful—nestled in the mountains with some incredible views on just about every hole. It’s one of those places where you find yourself pausing for a second just to take it all in. The layout was fun and challenging without being frustrating, which made it enjoyable for all of us regardless of skill level. The greens were in great shape, fairways well maintained, and overall you can tell they really take pride in keeping the course looking top-notch. Pace of play was smooth too, which made the round even more relaxing. What really made it special was just the vibe—great company, fresh mountain air, and a course that delivers both scenery and a solid round of golf. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to play, this one is definitely worth it. We’ll absolutely be back!

Never stayed there but have golfer a few times. LOVE this course! I live in Orlando so when I visit our cabin I try to make it a point to play here for the mountain views, the challenge of getting to a hole that you can't see from the tee box. Also the higher & lower elevations of different greens. I enjoy this course very much.

The staff (Finley, especially) made our vacation round an unforgettable day. We were able to enjoy a great meal, incredible service from greeting to returning the cart, and take in some incredible views. Can’t wait to make it back! Thank you SMCC!!
