River Landing property is GORGEOUS! I had the pleasure of being a photographer for a couple of weddings hosted there & it’s hands down a great venue. The staff was incredible to work with. There is so much space & with the right photographer/videographer the shots we could get are endless. Food was tasty. You will not regret choosing this place for your big day. They even allow you to stay on the property overnight so you aren’t rushing to leave. Everything our couples requested River Landing made happen. Extremely happy with the service provided. I played the River Course probably a year and a half ago and we played the Landing Course today (Fall 2022) and I have to say this is probably the premier golf spot in the Wilmington area. The layouts are nice, challenging but not tricky, plenty of tee off options, nice driving range and the courses are immaculate. I don't think I had a bad lie all day. Edit: 5/22/2023 Seriously this is by far still the best course in the Wilmington area. Played the River Course today and it's absolutely fantastic.

I had the privilege of working with Meagen and her amazing team, meagen was so attentive to all my needs and was the absolute best to work with. She made my wedding planning so much easier and without her I would have lost my mind!! I’m so happy we choose river landing this place definitely did not disappoint 🤩

I was a member for almost 2 years and always considered that a privilege. I was on a commuter membership, which means a lower rate and no initiation fees. Both courses impeccably maintained and pace of play was always great. My only issue and disappointment was the lack of communication and transparency between the main office and the clubhouse staff. I had inquired with the main office about putting together a Golf package for me and some military retirees. I was concerned about tee times because I was told by the clubhouse staff I could only make tee times 7 days in advance. The main office/administration told being on a commuter membership did not preclude me from making advance times. I was told by office administrator that I had the same privileges as everyone else at the club. I considered this great news and I believe I double and triple checked this information with them. I like to play early, so I started using this to my advantage and on 3 occasions I made tee times online outside of the 7 day window. Instead of a phone call or a chat in person, I received a text message from the Golf superintendent telling me my actions were a no-no. He said it didn’t matter to him but those that paid 20,000 or more on initiation are the ones that had issue with what I was doing. To a degree, I understood this but considered this communication breakdown and I reiterated to the Golf superintendent that I was proud to be a member there etc. but the more I thought about it I realized the residents really don’t care for the commuter membership folks because the deal is so good. I never heard anything else from the Golf superintendent and the more I thought about it the more I realized, I was just a number there. I had high expectations, especially after coming from a private club in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you can get past communication issues and wondering who was worried about what you’re doing by making a 7 AM time on a Thursday to play golf by yourself in less than three hours, then I recommend this place. This may appear petty to some, But basically I felt like I was pushed out of the club and told I could not come back on a Commuter membership once I canceled it.

As a husband and wife photo and video team, we absolutely love working at River Landing. The property offers such a refined, elegant atmosphere while still feeling warm and welcoming. The natural light throughout the day, especially during golden hour on the course, is unmatched. Every corner of the venue provides variety for portraits, which allows couples to have a gallery that feels dynamic and intentional. The team at River Landing makes the day flow effortlessly, and that level of organization makes all the difference for both couples and vendors. We’re always excited when we see River Landing on our calendar.
