Course is in great shape. Rough is rough so you need to keep it in the fairway. Nice outside socializing area and friendly staff. Early November is prime time for leaf change viewing. A must play course.

If you haven’t been to Grassy Creek in the last few months, you haven’t been to Grassy Creek. The new owners are in the process of revamping the entire course. From the white sand bunkers (the white sand Augusta uses comes from this county) to the gorgeous landscaping to the new restaurant, we are THRILLED to have our home course looking so good. It’s still the best value in this region and a fun yet challenging course. Update: It’s been six months since Helene devastated our region including the back nine of Grassy Creek. I’ve been watching the rebuilding day by day. They’re currently repaving the cart paths on the back nine. There are four new bridges and acres of sod put down. The creek going down the center of the back nine now has little waterfalls. There is a new pump house for the pond on 10. The cart path on 14 now goes behind the green instead of in front of it. The sand traps have been fixed. It’s gorgeous.

Stopped here for lunch. It had been awhile and wow! What an improvement. Nice to see Spencer back in operation. Facility and food were great - as was the service

Nice course. Course was in good shape. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Drinks are reasonable. Not a bad price at all. They offer a book if you've never played there. #14 and #18 are cart path only. Great course for the price.
