Hey this staff was excellent. The course is a lot of fun. The greens roll real nice. They give you a course booklet to help with course layou. A really great day.

We played on 10 MAR 26 and the weather was great ... breezy, mixed sun and clouds, with temps in the low 70's. The staff was friendly and easy to work with / helpful for a newbie to the course. Fairways are Bermuda and still in winter condition, which makes for a lot of roll on low, wind-vheater shots. Greensboro were in nice condition and quite receptive. Pace of play was fine and the course was not crowded. At $87 pp including cart, it was a bit pricey - but the experience was enjoyable. I would play again!

Great course in one of my favorite beach towns.

The gentlemen in the pro shop who checked us in were delightfully welcoming! From there, it went downhill. The starter was rude and condescending upon approach. We only played 9 holes and were waiting several minutes at each hole. Then at the 7th hole, a marshall drove over and told us to speed up…as we were sitting in the cart waiting for the player ahead of us to move on. Apparently this course doesn’t care about customer service or returning patrons, which is fine by us since Carolina National Golf Club is just a short drive away!! They have the most beautiful facility and greens, welcoming staff from start to finish; bag drop valet, a lovely bartender who makes a tasty Transfusion to-go, and updated carts with standard GPS distance trackers. OIGC needs to upgrade their carts, and their employees attitudes. First and last time for us.

Friendly staff and fun course. Pace of play is usually 4.5-5 hours. Priced a little high because they are the only course on the island. Several courses within 30 minutes that are in better condition with lower fees, faster pace of play and at least one has 27 holes. There is a great restaurant, Duffer's, in the clubhouse with very good food and service. This course serves the community well hosting many charity tournaments. It is definitely a fun course with several challenging holes. #7 is a long uphill and narrow Par 3, #8 is a shirt severe dogleg right, #9 is very long I to the wind Par 4 and then layup holes on #13 I believe, dogleg left Par 5 over water and #18 coming in against the wind, a long Par 5 over water. Check it out.
