I played here yesterday after I drove down from Wisconsin to play some golf in NC. This course did not disappoint. It is very picturesque and can be difficult on some holes but it is very well taken care of. I will definitely play here again when I am back in NC. Great employees as well!

I had the pleasure of visiting Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, NC and our experience far exceeded expectations in every way imaginable. 🏆 A Memorable Golf Experience My son absolutely fell in love with the course—and with good reason. He played the best golf of his life, leaving with the 1st place medal. The course conditions were immaculate: lush, rolling fairways that defy the flat terrain typical of eastern NC, and firm yet receptive greens that rolled true and fast. The layout was thoughtfully designed with character and complexity that rivals top-tier courses. 🏡 Exquisite Accommodations We stayed in one of the on-site cottages, and I can confidently say it was among the best golf lodging experiences we've had. Each of the four bedrooms featured high-end finishes, including en-suite bathrooms, individual HVAC systems, TVs, ample storage, and exceptionally comfortable mattresses. As someone who manages back issues, I’m often cautious about sleeping away from home—but I slept better than expected here. The cottage's proximity to the practice facility and golf shop made it incredibly convenient. 🍳 Great Food & Friendly Staff The Grill at Cutter Creek delivered excellent meals throughout our stay. Whether you're grabbing breakfast before a round or a casual dinner afterward, the food is well-prepared and satisfying. But what truly set our visit apart was the hospitality—the entire staff went out of their way to deliver a 5-star experience. 🏘️ Visionary Community & Lasting Value The gated community atmosphere was warm and welcoming. New homes are under construction, with beautiful lots still available. It’s clear that the owner has a strong, long-term vision for Cutter Creek, and it’s actively coming to life—one thoughtfully executed project at a time. But perhaps the biggest surprise was the value. To play a course of this caliber for under $100 just an hour from Raleigh is simply unheard of. Not to mention, we played at a steady place. In a more metropolitan setting, this experience could easily come with a six-figure initiation fee. Everything—from accommodations to amenities—was exceptionally well-priced for the level of quality. 🌾 Easy Access & Scenic Beauty The drive in through picturesque farmland was both relaxing and beautiful, setting the tone for a tranquil getaway. Cutter Creek is a true escape, without being remote or inaccessible. Final Verdict: Whether you're seeking a stay-and-play retreat, considering a full golf membership, or even dreaming of primary residence in a golf community, Cutter Creek should be at the top of your list. This is a rare gem that delivers championship golf, luxury accommodations, and southern hospitality—all at an incredible value.

Played here New Year's Day 2026 - What an amazing and well-kept course this was, even in January! I have always been told Cutter Creek is one of the nicest courses east of I-95, but the price point always held me back from coming and forming my own opinion. I wish I would have came sooner.. Beautiful hole layouts with very true greens, plenty of tee box choices to cater to your challenge level, and PHENOMENAL food on the turn! I am actually now glad the course is priced the way it is ($105 for Weekends/Holidays) because if it was even slightly cheaper, I would be here twice a month and broke! I will definitely be returning in the spring/summer to see this gem in it's true green glory. TIP: If you are usually a white tee box player (5800-6200 yds), play the green tees here if you want to still have a challenge but also not feel beat up too bad after spending 100 bucks to play. Trust me, the greens and bunkers will make up for the shorter distance!

Cutter has become our favorite place for our eight Raleigh golfers Stay and Play twice a year. It is always an awesome experience. The staff, especially Dylan and Doug, go out of their way to make it special…authentic Eastern NC hospitality at its finest.

Beautiful Golf course. Husband enjoys playing here. I got to experience when I came by choice to be the caddy driver lol. Such a peaceful and serene course so great job!!!
