The day's weather was almost as perfect as the greens. They have the championship Bermuda rollin! Quick, true and able to receive a shot.. The tee shots are pretty wide open but with multiple doglegs going both directions is favorable. This course is a treat and I can't wait to return.

The entire staff at River Bend deserve all the kudos in the world for their dedication and hard work to maintain such an awesome course. The people of Cleveland County are so lucky to have this fantastic place to play and experience the sport of golf.

River Bend YMCA Golf Course may be one of the best values for golf in the entire Charlotte metro region. We played for $39, hit balls beforehand, finished in about three hours, and the course was in fantastic shape. The layout offers a great variety of holes with different lengths, elevation changes, and views. It is straightforward enough for average golfers to enjoy, but still provides a solid challenge from the back tees. The greens were very firm and rolled fast and true. The tees, bunkers, and fairways were all well maintained and honestly comparable to courses I routinely pay $90 or more to play. Beyond the golf course itself, it was refreshing to see the impact they are making through the Foothills Junior Golf Association and junior golf programs. It is clear there are people there who genuinely care about growing the game the right way. I strongly recommend making the trip out to play River Bend.

Absolutely love this gem! Good fairways great fast greens. Carts are nice. Hot dog at the turn. And the price is more than reasonable! Ill drive the hour it takes me to get there no problem.

This course has the best greens in the Charlotte area hands down. Very similar to Warrior Golf Club with the green conditions and speed, lots of fun to play on. Fairways and tees are decent, along with the cart paths. This course would be almost perfect if they gave some more love to these areas. Driving range is restricted to
