Description

Set on rolling Piedmont land, The Revival at the Crescent (formerly Crescent Golf Club) is a Denis Griffiths layout with classic shot values. Broad fairways tighten near greens protected by bunkers and subtle runoffs. Recent stewardship and rebranding have focused on improved conditions and playability without sacrificing challenge. Par 5s offer reachable options if you're willing to flirt with hazards. A good warm-up on the range pays off - approach angles matter on this course.

Great course Just completely redone greens with Mach 1 Bermuda and they are great. Fairways very good. Greens are challenging and large Very friendly people. They have put a lot of work into making this course one of the best in the area and they continue to make improvements and maintained very well. Give it a try you’ll be glad you did. The people and personnel here are fantastic and treat members and guest like family not just customers. Glad to call this my home course.

Very nice course. Lots of unique holes. Nice large greens rolled extremely well and fast. Would definitely give 5 stars but there are trees down on several holes that are piled up in what should be the rough. I'll be back. Also, the starter was a super cool guy dressed for the job 😎

Has been a good time! Just a little muddy in areas on the cart trails. Had the strawberry daiquiri it was yummy! Bartender was nice!

Course is definitely not worth $65 especially when we bring 25 golfers. Was told a price over the phone but they didn't honor it once we got there. Some of us drove over a hour to get there. We spent $ in the bar and they still wanted $30 for replay on 9 holes.... Or $40 for 18?.. Greens were ok but the rest of the course was not great and this is prime season. One hole looks like a dirt road??? We won't go back.

Here’s what I honestly think of this course pricing is reasonable it has a good layout and could be a good course, reason I’m saying could be is because it’s definitely not maintained for example there’s many holes where the grass in the fairways and or rough is unacceptable hole 3 has craters like you’re on the moon hole 6 is basically all mud for the first 200 yards practically a punishment to hit it in the fairway hole 16 is definitely the worst because there is no grass whatsoever unless you can bomb it onto the green. now the drainage on this course is absolutely awful if it rains within a week of your tee time expect MUD holes 4/5/6/9/16 are muddy constantly EMPHASIS on 5/6/16 it’s awful. unless it’s been only sun and no rain for at least a week. On the off chance there’s no rain in Salisbury they are bone dry they must not have sprinklers. the tee boxes ON ALL holes are in awful shape nowhere feels good to tee always uneven footing etc the golf carts are slow as molasses. The driving range is unacceptable very poorly maintained almost only divots and constantly either bone dry or muddy with limited space. the greens are probably the best things the course has but they aren’t as fast as they should be with the title mach 1 Bermuda so they roll pretty slow the course does have good potential for sure but they need to fix the drainage issues to fix how muddy it is constantly. It’s almost like they don’t have a maintenance crew who goes out here to fix anything I play here occasionally to keep giving it chances but it is just disappointment after disappointment and I mean it’s just unfathomable that you can hit it into the fairway on at least half the holes and have a worse shot than if your in the rough in my honest opinion shut it down for play and fix the course and it’d be much more enjoyable when opened back up. For defense if you can go play cc of salisbury golf course and you will see the absolute difference in quality and it’s only 5 minutes away. The only reason it’s not one star is because the layout is nice but it’s so poorly maintained it’s not fun to play
