Donald Ross's final design is a study in strategic restraint—elevated greens, thoughtful bunkering and classic short-grass runoffs. A 2020 restoration by Kyle Franz sharpened Ross's sightlines, expanded fairways and lengthened the course to modern championship yardage. The routing folds gracefully over a compact property, creating variety through green complexes rather than forced water carries. Fast, firm conditions are the ideal, and the test builds through an exacting closing stretch. The club's location close to downtown Raleigh adds rare accessibility for a course of this pedigree.

UNC Healthcare Championship was here this year, and I can tell the location is fantastic. The fields are very well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Went to experience the Korn Ferry Tour. What a tremendous course! Meticulously kept and manicured. I've yet to play it but it certainly looks like a really tough course.

I am a local business owner, and I get ~ 12 calls per month from Raleigh Country Club asking me to market my business on the scorecards. I have now 45 contacts in my phone from the various numbers associated with these cold calls. I have asked kindly each and every time to be removed from the list, and the folks are consistently rude. It’s shameful, and yall should just internally design and produce your scorecards so the entire workforce isn’t annoyed by your BS. Keywords: country club, golf club, golf lessons, driving range,
