Fun little track. More of a shot makers course than a long ball bomber. Layout is cool. Conditions are nice. Price is on par for surrounding courses. Need to have your putter working to go low here. Play it several times a month in season.

When you’re playing well and these greens are what you have to greet you at the end of a hole just put a sour note on your entire day. This was the case on at least 14 of the 18 greens. The edges were burnt, you can see where they tried to do patch jobs but they didn’t take, there were massive cracks, they were uneven, the speeds were inconsistent, and there is sand everywhere. I’m already inconsistent enough with my putting I don’t need poorly. Kept greens to assist with me, accumulating strokes while putting. Not even so much as a discount on the price, a heads up from the starter, or even give me a hotdog at the turn to say hey man we’re sorry for not giving you a quality golf experience. I would’ve been better off, dropping the deck on my mower to the lowest setting and putting around in my yard. I’ve played Lexington several times in the past and I usually love the course, but this was unacceptable!!! This obviously affected the peso play because no one knew how to handle the greens so you had a group in front of you actually trying to put on them where it felt like the group behind you was just picking up and calling it a two or three putt just to keep the game rolling.

I went to a wedding reception here. Very nice facilities. Open space, plenty of room for chairs/tables and dancing. There is a kitchen stocked with various items you may need for catering. Spacious patio area with a nice ambiance. I highly recommend inquiring for a gathering.

My first time playing here after being recommended to play. When I pulled up I was surprised by how compact everything was, which made me rethink my strategy. Onto the review. Tee Boxes 3.5/5 - A number of tee boxes were either in temporary spots or were under repair. Of the remaining, some had their actual placements on slopes or lopsided. Fairways 5/5 - No issues to be found. For a short course, the fairways were well kept though the carts don't have sand to fill divots. Greens 4/5 - I want to give them a 5, but they were under aerification. Despite that, they rolled true and not as slow as you might think. At about a 10/11 at times. I think some of the undulations are a bit extreme, but that is just me. Rough 4/5 - When I was in it I wasn't buried, which is great. Bunkers 4/5 - I was in a single bunker and got out easily. Sand is soft in most bunkers. Layout 4/5 - This is a short course, but by no means an easy course. It plays just 6100 yards from the tips, and with the hole shapes and placements of hazards and carries, I pulled my driver 2 times on holes other than par 5s. The elevation changes are rather extreme at times, requiring you to have a good grasp on distance control. A number of blind shots can have you guessing where to aim as well. Amenities 2/5 - No driving range, no separate pitching/chipping area, no practice bunker. A putting green is what you get. Overall, I liked the course. I was forced to play various clubs and plan ahead for elevation changes and manage my misses well. For $41, it was a great value.

Great conditions year round, especially the greens. Awesome staff, can get pretty busy but they manage the pace well. Unbeatable price.
