Great layout. Particularly the back nine. Some really challenging holes. Greens were in great condition at this time of year. Fairways and rough seemed to be still growing in after the winter. Some of the tees need a good overhaul as they were a bit ropey. Overall though a really enjoyable course to play. I think i'd feel the benefit playing it a second time but unfortunately I'm off back to the UK tomorrow.

Course was very nice and very well maintained Staff was extremely friendly and the starter was a super nice guy and a great conversation I started the morning with a cup of coffee from their café, and it was great and I’m a coffee snob They accommodated me since I’m a fast golfer and actually let me go off first even though I had the second time slot If you’re a good golfer, I would definitely play from the tips. I played up and was using my three wood and four hybrid a lot. Greens can be a little tricky and they were actually pretty fast after the dew dried up Put all in all there was definitely a lot of uniqueness to the course that made it fun. It would be a cool place to come up and take a trip with some guys for a long weekend with the courses they have in the area

Our first time vacationing at Lake Lure, I can’t say enough about how the golf course exceeded our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to help and make sure our round was scheduled to accommodate our stay. The course itself was in great shape I work at a golf course in the panhandle of Florida and am aware of the work that goes into maintaining a course. From tee to green the course was a pleasure to play, the driving range is limited to 200 yards but the balls were complimentary.I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone looking to play golf in the area.

Course was in decent shape. Challenging with narrow fairways It was cool to take a pic at the dirty dancing hole!

Course was in great shape from tee box to green views at the first couple of holes are nice....staff was great only reason for 4 star is range was 6iron max but balls to come with green fee...and the fee I've played a LOT NICER for less I realize it's a resort but it's at least $30 over priced....it's tight in a lot of places...there are a couple of holes that make u scratch your head as to the layout....if this course was $60-65 I'd play it every day
