Beautiful scenery while playing golf. I was not able to play due to cardiac health but rode with my hubby. There was deer everywhere and the deer just watched us and did not run away. Course itself is well manicured and groomed despite the rainy weather which speaks well to the staff who work @ AV golf course. We will be back to play again soon as my health improves. The golf shop staff were attentive and friendly too.

We loved this course! Such a great day and a fun course to play! Not only was it a beautiful course, the holes were challenging and fun! Looking forward to coming back to play again!!

Our favorite public course in the area. Always great conditions. Good track with elevation changes. Fast greens that roll well. Always play it while in town.

Apple Valley is a stunning course right near Rumbling Bald. The course is beautiful with raised tee boxes and rolling fairways. Difficult course to read if you’ve not played it before, and I had to use a mobile GPS to know where I was hitting, but supremely fun course to say the least! Great greens, long fairways, streams and ponds, amazingly well kept bunkers. Course had it all. Staff was awesome - shoutout to Kathy and Frankie for greeting us with energy and making us feel welcome! Loved the experience and will play again the first chance I get!

Truly breathtaking golf course! The beauty is unmatched and the layout is so much fun!
