Friendly people, nice café and great place to golf. The café is open to the public. Just call ahead to make sure they're open due to the season. The course is clean and kept up well. If the café is closed. They have drinks, variety of snacks, premade sandwiches and coffee. Proshop cashiers are friendly and very helpful.

I had a really great time playing this course today. The greens were rolling true and smooth all day, and the entire layout felt so well cared for...it made every hole enjoyable. The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, which always sets a nice tone. The carts were fresh and comfortable too. It's clear the place is getting some thoughtful improvements, and it shows. If you're heading toward the beach, this is the perfect quick stop to squeeze in a round. I'd definitely go back and recommend it to friends!

This is my go-to course to play a round on my way from the Raleigh area to the beach. It is right off of Hwy 70. Easy in and out, and tee times are online. The course is always in great shape. Great greens. Good price. About half what you pay in Raleigh. The staff is welcoming. There is a lunchtime group that plays and welcomes others to join if you want some competition.

Played on a Friday drizzly morning. Course was in good shape and the greens were in excellent condition and very fast. This was my 4th year playing Fallen Creek via: The First Tee of Wilmington card.

Played this course for the first time on Saturday 4/18/26 - I cannot stress enough how nice and well-kept the greens at this track are. Most tee boxes were grassy minus a couple of the par 3's (typical) and fairways were about 75/25 with some of them a little more bare than others. The drought in the current area isn't helping I'm sure. For less than $60 on a weekend round, and with greens as true (BUT CHALLENGING!!!) as these are, this course deserves you giving it a try. I have a tee time booked for Sunday AM that I am super bummed I will most likely have to cancel due to rain finally. We will meet again Falling Creek!
