A post-war Carolina classic (1945), King's Mountain offers a traditional parkland walk with towering pines and subtle elevation changes. The Porter Gibson design is straightforward off the tee but asks for proper distance control into smallish greens. It's a favorite among locals for value and pace, with a handy driving range for tune-ups. The par-4 13th is a signature view, playing toward the namesake mountain. Overall, it's a friendly, repeatable test with a few sneaky bogey traps.

Sunday our church group got a couple of guys together. When I'm played the course at king's mountain Country Club 1st time I've ever been there. The course is a challenging course. And actually is very fast. It was a great time disband with great people. And time around the golf course is pretty average. I would definitely say if you can play this course.

The course was in great shape. Lady in clubhouse was very nice and welcoming. Other workers were very friendly also. Enjoyed the course.

Great course. Looks like they are making improvements on 16 and 17 so there is some construction. But beautiful course and a great staff. This will be my go to club from now on.
