The course is in wonderful shape and it's mid-winter. Fairways are really nice, bunkers are consistent and filled with good sand, and the greens are really fast but roll true. Pretty tough pin-placement on the back nine too. Very friendly and accommodating staff and facilities. We always enjoy playing at Duplin Country Club!

Not a bad course for the money. Some greens need work as well as tee boxes(see pics). I liked it. The views are nice. Greens are a bit faster than what I’m used to. Hit high trajectory shots and they’d mostly roll off or roll a lot. Tried hitting low trajectory and short to let the roll up onto the green and they’d stop before getting to the greens. I’m only giving it 3 out of 5 because I paid full price for a course that had dead spots on greens and beat up tee boxes. I’ll be back to play again

Great course! Staff is really friendly. Currently some greens are not in the greatest condition. Pin placement is some cases was extremely challenging.

Have been going there about 4 years and the greens were always great. HOWEVER this year they've gone downhill to the point that once I get on the green I make 1 feeble attempt to putt then just pick up my ball and Go to the next hole. What a shame. Update jan 2026, the grounds crew has been making big improvements on the greens and they are definitely getting better! Keep it up guys. The general manager Chris makes the round enjoyable with his hospitality and humor and one of the reasons we go there.

First time playing at Duplin Country Club since early 70s. Great experience. Course looked great. Greens were in great shape. Fairways in great shape. Only negative was some of the tee boxes needed some work.
