A friend and I played here today with an invite from our home course. Course is nice and in good shape. However, we were treated very rudely by the Marshalls and given several ‘etiquette lessons’ about how and where to drive the carts, fixing divots, and how we should play their course. After getting fed up with being watched and chided We quit after nine holes. When we asked for our money back the GM also treated us rudely. We left. I’ve played golf all over the world at famous courses and know and practice golf etiquette. Fix divots, rake bunkers, drive carts where you are supposed to. Have always done that. Won’t ever go back here. Play somewhere else.

Perched at the base of Whiteside Mountain- Wildcat cliffs County Club is rustic mountain elegance. Once known as the ‘Millionaires club’, this private country club is known for warm and welcoming members and staff.

Wildcat Cliffs is a fantastic golf course and the staff offers absolutely amazing service. Upon entering the pro shop, the head pro took me to the main dining room and made certain we had a seat overlooking the driving range and the first tee. The food was tremendous and the service from the wait staff was even better. If you are considering eating before or after you play at Wildcat Cliffs, I would strongly suggest eating at the clubhouse. The course was in amazing shape as it was bentgrass tee to green. If you are the type of golfer that takes divots, you are going to find you rip up some sod even with practice swings. Fortunately, there is plenty of sand and fertilizer on the carts for you to fix your beaver pelts. The greens were extremely fast when we played on a Tuesday. My guess is they were rolling around a 12 or 13. There isn't a ton of undulation in the greens, which is a good thing because they would have been impossible at that speed. You don't have to be a long ball hitter to enjoy this course. In fact, you will have plenty of wedges into greens even if you only drive the ball 230-240. Also note that elevation does make a difference at this course. I had to scale back about two clubs with each shot. It will make you feel very good about yourself when your pitching wedge is going as far as your normal 8 iron. If given the opportunity, play Wildcat Cliffs and enjoy the dining experience.

This is a great country club. From the manager to the staff at the clubhouse and at the golf shop, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. They also have a beautiful croquet court.
