Played this course on my bachelor trip with 7 of my groomsmen. Course wise, very pretty. We are from Florida so Mill Creek spoiled us. Very friendly staff, and one of the best golf days I’ve ever had.

The course is in OK shape for being a small town. But unlike the name suggests, its not country club quality. It is however in much better shape than the other course locally. 🚨 Just don’t come hungry or looking to practice before. No food or range. When I golf with friends we all expect to be able to grab a bite either before or at the turn, and sometimes after. When the course packs the start schedule very 5 mins and thus we are stuck on the course for 5 hours behind others how does one stay properly nourished for the turn. 😔 Not only would it help the guest experience but it would likely increase your average per golfer/4some profit margin exponentially to reinvest into the dead areas on the course. I might golf here again if a friend asks to go, but won’t actively seek out for the time being until I hear of some TLC advancements. Which bums me out.

Nice mountain layout with good elevation changes. Fairways mostly grass/ weed mix but mowed well. The few bunkers on the course have been allowed to return to nature with poor results. Very little water in play. Tee boxes are just fairway with markers. Greens are horrible with a couple of exceptions. Would be better to remove what little vegetation there is and just have packed dirt. The price of $30 is worth it for all parts of the game except putting. Very friendly staff.

Mill Creek is a really fun course. It’s beautiful, has lots of elevation changes, and lots of wildlife. The crew is putting in the effort to keep it maintained and they are doing a great job.

I visit Franklin every summer and have high hopes under the new ownership and management, that Mill Creek will get back to conditions that it deserves. I can tell they are putting in a lot of work and with time, this course can be an absolute gem.
