Description

Just off I-40 near Four Oaks, Reedy Creek is a Gene Hamm design routed across open ridgelines and wooded hollows. Generous landing areas narrow near the greens, where false fronts and movement create interesting short-game decisions. Prevailing breezes can add a club or two on the exposed par-3s. The layout asks you to think your way around rather than swing away, especially on the doglegs. It's a friendly, affordable Tri-County staple with a straightforward, enjoyable rhythm.

Revisited this course to play 9 and they were nice enough to squeeze my brother and I in for a quick round. Course is in great shape and service was awesome.

Went on a beautifil Tuesday. Well kept course and friendly staff in club house. A Marshal came by to tell us to quicken our game which is fine since we were four newer to golf guys starting earlier this year. He was very kind about it. Before play at the range two guys weren't the nicest, one who was hitting told another who just arrived in his kia optima to be careful he might get hit. The one who arrived yelled to us that we're not supposed to hit from the turf and we have to move up. It was only us at the range until they came up. We yelled back no one told us any different. We left to make our tee time and not to make issue. Half way through our round those same guys and a few of their friends drive by indirectly telling us to speed up our game and we're taking too long with a few other words under their breath. People like this discourage new players. Other courses we've played around NC the players loved hearing we were getting in to golf and would tell us to take mulligan and would give tips. On the end the course and staff we're awesome, some customers are not.

Played here this past weekend and overall I absolutely loved the course!! It was a ton of fun and in great shape. The greens were in good shape and rolled good but they were awfully slow for whatever reason. Although the course was busy the pace of place was great for a Saturday morning. It was also a little hard to navigate for first timers but we managed the course pretty good. Definitely a fun tract that I will visit again in the future. The food from the grill was pretty good as well.

Ready Creek is a great public course. Tee boxes , fairways , roughs and greens are in great shape! Some greens do seem to be faster then others though. They do have a driving range , a practice putting green and a chipping green. Clubhouse has a grill with pretty decent food too. They serve beer as well! Also , a big plus right down the road is a restaurant called "The Redneck BBQ Lab"! I always hit it up after a round. I wish the golf carts had tablets to help show yardages and maybe play some tunes but its a great course overall!

Called up there today. Asked for a single tee time with a ride along at 130pm. Was told they are too busy to accommodate. That would be fine except it was 1145am already and their website was wide open. Too bad the chub in the clubhouse lied. Heard it was a fun course. Oh well. Better to not do business with with people that lie and can't just speak truthfully.
