Leaving a three star due to the greens being in bad condition. Fairways in course layout was good though. Also kind of find it odd that the driving range is next to a hole. Lots of range balls in the fairway.

Take a slow winding drive through the country side to the place he learned to play the game of golf. Green fees cost you less than $50.00 for a weekend round on true putting greens. Fairmont Golf Course was where PGA Professional William McGirt learned to play the sport.

We reserved an overnight in our RV through Harvest Host and it was a great choice for a safe, quiet & clean overnight stop. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Reasonable price for a hot breakfast. A lot of food but those grits were the BEST I've ever had since a young child. Hopefully next time we will stay longer to play a round.

Very practical 18 holes, fun to play. The fairways and greens need a little work but for the price it was well worth it iv gone now a few times shop is very friendly and the food is very good nice place to relax after 18 would recommend playing the course

First time we golfed here it was a great time. Second time started good then we got to hole 5 and the old man who was at the front counter comes flying over to us and says “everyone needs a set of club” very rudely, so we said okay no big deal and started back towards the main office. Another rude old man that worked there said the same thing as we were heading back and was very rude about it. All they had to do was tell us this information before we even started golfing. Of course they were nice once we got to the office. Descent place to golf not really friendly workers/owners. Hopefully they are no longer apart of the fairmont golf club
