New ownership that took over in 2024 is investing in the course and it shows. Greens are in nice shape. Entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. Challenging course that requires you to keep the ball in play (lots of vegetation in woods and wetlands areas on almost every hole). A good course to play a tee box forward than you normally play. One of Raleigh Durham’s nice public courses. Will be back!

Decent course for the cost. Aka good value . Well played so not in the best of shape . Great layout and really can be challenging so if you're looking for a change of pace it's a good course to try.. no driving range but they have a chipping and putting area

This course has a great layout! Very challenging especially since it’s our first time playing. I feel like you can play it over and over and not get bored of it. The staff:: 5 out of 5! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! We’ll be back.

Good news is the course is in good shape. Fairways very lush and green. New greens still a little slow but roll pretty too. Other news. Played today, 7/3. Classified as a Holiday. Should have known NOT to play on a federal holiday as all the 2-3 times a year golfers and visitors are out. 2 hrs and 45 minutes to play the front. NOT a ranger in site. Complained at the turn and guy behind the counter basically said what do you expect? Well I expect for a $80 round you'd have a ranger out there at least making and effort to keep things moving. But this new ownership group is all about recouping their investment ASAP and little things like 5 hr rounds in 100 degree heat with little water on the course.

Great value with solid customer service. New carts are great. Grounds crew does an excellent job. Greens are maintained daily with good irrigation and drainage, and putting green holes are relocated every few days, keeping the game new and challenging with every visit. Highly recommend this course if you’re in the area.
