A tough course to know where to hit your shots for the best results. Conditions have been an issue for courses in this area lately, due to a lack of rain. There were some very notable spots on some of the greens, fairways, and tee boxes that were not in great shape. However, it wasn’t enough where I was looking for a refund. It is just something you have to keep in mind. The greens do roll great and true. The elevated greens are the most challenging aspect. If you are short or long, tough chips/pitches/bunker shots are a normal part of a round here. Considering the price to conditions at the moment, $170 is a bit to ask. However, the layout is one of my favorites that I’ve played in the area so far.

Beautiful picturesque course. Tree lined fairways but not too tight. Excellent pace of play. We'll maintained. Nice soft bunkers. Pro shop has great selection with top brands. Well run course with nice staff.

Enjoyable/challenging course but less than ideal conditions - particularly for $160. Would recommend playing UNC, NC State, or River Ridge alternatively.

Traveled 5 hours to see family and wanted to play a round of golf. Played here on Aug 8th 2025 and the course is beyond beautiful. The greens were immaculate and driving fairways were very rewarding due to the amazing shape. Gerald the starter was extremely nice and friendly! Unlike some starters , Gerald seems like he takes pride in what he does and makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Even though it had rained for 3 days straight before hand this is one of the nicest courses I have personally played.

Good golf course, not worth $180. Completely insane they are charging that rate for this type of course. The course was brown in June, grass in every bunker, gravel beside the cart path, and water in bunkers. I would pay $75 to play this course. Charge a fair rate for what you are providing. If you want to pay $180, there are many other courses in NC that are worth that price.
