Played here with my dad when he visited me. Was a great course beautiful and somewhat challenging. Carts and technology were great. Only issue was the pace of play was extremely slow. Seems like there wasnt a ranger out on the course enforcing pace of place but the day we played it was needed

We have lived at Salem Glen for 13 years and have loved living there from day 1. We have had multiple owners during that time, all of whom made incremental improvements to the course and amenities. When Tyler and Melissa purchased SG, they went all in at high speed to bring Salem Glen back to the vision the original designers had and beyond. In just two years they have made amazing improvements to the course: - All bunkers were completely gutted and equipped with advanced drainage systems. - Trees were taking out to make the course more user friendly and improve the look. The view of the river on hole 5 is stunning (especially at sunset). - The (awesome) maintenance team was outfitted with upgraded equipment. - New GPS outfitted golf carts and scooters were added. Scooters are an absolute blast! - A state of the art covered and heated Trackman driving range is opening in February. - We just learned that the Golf Academy at Salem Glen (Jimmy McMullen, PGA Director of Coaching), will be constructing a 36-foot Tee Line and 2000 Ft2 artificial green (putting, pitching and chipping) for group clinics. Jimmy's academy has earned a great reputation for the development of especially junior golfers. - In 2026 all greens are being replaced with Bermuda grass and brought back to their original size. Aside from the golf course, the pool was completely renovated, and pickle ball courts were added. And more improvements coming over the next few years. Really extraordinary. Great time to join this club and live in this neighborhood. We are super excited to be members!

Greens are true and fast. Fairways are in excellent shape, some Blue Tee boxes need to be moved (or moved more often - divots and little grass). Rough is fair and the bunkers are really nice. No real issues with pace (big bonus). Carts have a GPS, which also tracks your pace of play (wish all Clubs and Country Clubs has them). Proshop has ample gear and accessories. Driving range is large and in great shape with a kinda small practice green... Bar/food shop was open and has everything and then some. They do have a more CC restaurant (didn't use it). Overall, one of my top three in the southern Winston area (Oak Valley, Sapona are my others in my top three - Burmuda Run, just didn't give me the WoW factor for the price). Wish Salem Glen had a lower membership and cart plan rates for Military, if they did, my wife and I would be members and collecting more birdies. Well done by new ownership and management!!

Salem Glen Golf and Country Club is a true gem! 💎 The golf course itself is stunning, offering a blend of challenging holes and beautiful scenery. The Nicklaus Design really shines through, with elevation changes, creeks, and lakes making every shot interesting. Conditions are consistently top-notch, with fast/true greens that make putting a delight. ⛳ The driving range is excellent too! It's spacious, well-maintained, and provides a perfect spot to warm up or work on your swing. The quality of the range balls is surprisingly good, which is a huge plus. But what sets Salem Glen apart is the staff. From the moment you arrive, everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience, whether it's checking you in, assisting with carts, or offering advice. It's clear they love what they do, and it makes a huge difference. Highly recommend!

Salem Glen is a beautiful course that’s always in excellent shape. The layout is fun, challenging, and very well maintained. I visited with the CW Golf Group, and we were blown away by the experience. The staff is amazing—welcoming, professional, and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this is one of the best golf experiences we’ve had, and I can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!
