Challenging course, greens were slow but in good shape, pace of play was good, great food, fairway was in good condition just grass is still dormant by the looks of it. 1 and only complaint was no water anywhere on 18 holes, 1st time ive seen that and in 90° weather it was needed.

Pretty nice course. When we played, there was a lot of maintenance going on, but it didn't affect us. One of the first couple holes, there were a couple of loose dogs, they enjoyed a good Pat, On the head and tried to take a ride in the cart 😅🤣 the restaurant had good food options & drinks. We enjoyed ourselves.

Played on Saturday and had an amazing experience from check-in to end of round. The staff was courteous and helpful; course was absolutely beautiful and challenging. Shout out to Joseph Priest for making this such a memorable day. Highly recommend The Neuse!

I recently moved to the area and investigated golf courses and memberships. I played most of the courses in the area in my price range. The Neuse is by far the best course and club. I’ve played the course many times now and it offers great challenges every time. The practice facilities are great. The course is expertly maintained and the pace has been well within accepted norms. I’ve met some great people on and off the course. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to many more rounds.

Great course and a fun layout. Played here 3 times with no problem. Then on back to back occasions was told to pick up the pace. First time was on a Sunday morning in a foursome with a few holes being cart path only. Finished the round in 4:15 minutes. Second time was the next day on a Monday morning in a threesome with one being a walker. Finished that round in 4 hrs flat. Both times the starter/ ranger came off rude and seemed like they were just saying something because the members behind us were playing from the front tees. Will give them another chance but they shouldn’t be rushing people when they are well with in the allowed time.
