Thought it would be a fun place for some beginner golfers. Unfortunately, you have to hit off mats, the greens are not the best, and there are tons of water hazards. When we arrived for our tee time, they only had one cart for the four of us. Which we didn't mind until we had to push the one cart the majority of the way since it was an absolute junker! We still managed to have some fun, and we'll be back. Now that we're more prepared knowing what to expect.

This is my favorite Par 3 course in Charlotte! I have been here 3-4 times and the afternoon view was stunning every time. The course is very clean and well maintained. It only costs 11 dollars to play 18 holes. The course is very fun yet challenging as it has a lot of water where you can easily lose your balls.

Great bang for your buck. It's an 18 hole par 3 with the longest hole only being like 80 or 90 yards. So for most people you only need a pitching wedge and a putter. There is a good amount of water from hole 3 to about hole 8 that are challenging so bring balls you don't mind hitting into the water!

My son told me he got into golf because the day he graduated high school he went with three friends to play mini-golf here (they also have mini-golf) and he recommended to his friends: “Let’s play real golf!” They all agreed and they had a blast but played terrible. Since then, my son improved and asked me to play. While I love to compete, I hadn’t played golf since before he was born so I said no a few times, but I knew I would eventually go. Since then, we have visited three times and played six rounds. And we will play many more. This is an awesome course for Pitch & Putt, and you get a great deal if you play two rounds because the second round is half price. As for difficulty and what to expect… Personally, I only use a SW (Sand Wedge) and a putter—I can get it to the green with a SW on the longest hole and this club is more forgiving so no need for a PW, which hits a little lower and will get you into a lot more trouble here due to the added juice. Any bounces off the green or cart path and you pretty much have no shot at parring that hole. Unlike most regulation golf courses, the risk here is water opposed to sand. The water is brutal on the front nine. Fortunately, the back nine is crazy easy so if you can manage a decent front nine, you’re good to go. If not, you’re in trouble. I can almost guarantee that more than 85% of people will score higher on the front nine if playing a high volume of rounds. As for the sand, it’s hard sand. It’s very easy to hit out of unless you have that lip right ahead of you—depends on the hole. Aside from using the SW more than the PW, I highly recommend putting from the fringe here. You will save strokes unless you’re a bad putter and a master at chip shots. Also, on the back nine, keep the ball slightly right off the tee because there is massive trouble on the left and the right side of the holes slope down so your ball will often roll back toward the hole. You’re going to have fun! If you can manage a decent score on holes 3, 6, and 7, you will have a lot of fun! If not (most likely until you get used to the course), play another round. The value here is solid and just a fun day out. For the emptiest courses, try Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. This avoids the weekends and their hole-in-one challenge. An added note is that you can rent a cart for pretty cheap. Overall, definitely recommended!
