I like this course. Probably my favorite in Charlotte area. Played Sunday afternoon in May 2026. Tip: if you play back 9 in the afternoon, the sun will be facing you. Playing the 18th hole before sunset was challenging lol. Sun glaring. (Dark around 7-8pm) I thought the course was in great condition. The putting was most challenging for me. All the holes were playable. I think this would be a hard course for a new golfer. Great challenges. A lot of tight windows for great shots. The starter was great. Nice men. They have beverage girl. Cart boys. They have designated bathrooms on front and back of the course plus the clubhouse. Sunday afternoon we ran into slower golfers. If you like to play fast, maybe go early in morning. It could have just been our luck that day.

I wrote this plays off years ago due to bad conditions, mostly with the greens. The price never matched the experience, not even close. Credit to the team, because this place is in great shape now that they replaced the greens. Because they’re new, they are a bit bouncy but they rolled so nicely. Rest of the course was in really good shape as well. Looking forward to a year from now once the greens have settled in. Going to be an elite track. Finally worth the price!

Review as of 2/13/2026 golf course is in great condition. It’s been over 5 years since I’ve played it. Refused to go back due to the condition it was in. Greens are perfect , fairways for winter time are great. Once the grass fills in from where they removed trees this course will be top notch. Glad to see it come back.

While in town for a family reunion, my brothers and I played here. It had been 5 years since I last played it, so I couldn't remember a lot about the course. Anyway, I enjoyed the course and found it to be an interesting layout. There are lots of doglegs off the tee, both to the right and left, so you needed to hit a variety of tee shots. I found the course to be in good shape. The greens are only several weeks old. They rolled well and were fairly quick, especially on downhill putts. They are very firm, which is normal for new greens without the thatch below that comes with time. The food and beverage staff were very friendly, and the food was good, too. The reason for not giving it 5 stars was not because of the course itself, but because it took 5 hours to play. That is an eternity! 3-1/2 to 4 hours is a very achievable pace of play, but 5 hours, in my book, is WAY too long.

Fantastic, the greens were in great shape. Layout is fun and challenging. Biggest issue was the staff. When I called to book a tee time I was met with immediate displeasure. They were acting as if I was a burden and not a customer. This continued when I went to check in and was falsely accused of not paying for my round. The theme continued thoughout the day. 8.7/10 course, 3.2/10 staff
