Recently played the course for the second time this month. Had not played otherwise for over ten years. Found the course in great shape. Greens were smooth and reasonably fast. Overall a challenging but fair layout. Marshall on the course to keep things moving. Staff was attentive and professional. Also appreciated the use of AI for booking the tee time - very impressive. Overall a very good experience and will be coming back frequently.

It was so so, honestly expected better conditions and healthier greens. Practice green was rolling great a couple weeks back. But we have been in a slight drought. The most disappointing part was the tee boxes are rough right.

I played this course for the first time today, and it was outstanding! The rebuilt greens are incredible, they rolled fast, but fair and smooth. Teeing grounds were in great shape. Fairways were immaculate. The golf course requires you to work your way around it if you want to score, but there are birdie opportunities. I will be playing this course again.

So my family and I go out to golf and book a tee time on Saturday around 4 p.m. And after we played 3 holes, a guy starts screaming at us, and we have no idea why. Maybe 10 minutes later, an employee pulls up, and he says we can’t drive on the green, and I already knew that, so I told him I didn’t and I know better, and turns out that my brother in his other cart drove on the green, and as he is new to golf and has never booked a tee time, I said sorry, and he said “we usually kick people out the first time we see them do that,” and so we returned to our game, and my cousin hit his ball past the green and into the trees, and so I drove down the path and drove through some of the rough and parked and then drove through the fairway to where my ball is slightly farther back. And so I hit my ball and drove up to it through the fairway. And as I parked, I noticed that the same employee, Kyle, is watching me and shaking his head and appears mad, and I said what’s up, are you good, and he then walks up and shouts “I saw you drive on the green,” and I replied we drove around through the rough and then back on the fairway. And he said you can’t be doing that and was quite rude and angry with his response. And he then proceeded to stare at us and look angry. And as my cousin and I were in a good mood to play on a Saturday, we ended up leaving because of how rude and disrespectful and short Kyle was with us. As we were leaving, this rude jerk was still staring at us, and we just left, and as he got in his squatted Tacoma and drove off super fast. I will not be returning to this place again, as Highland Creek hires rude staff and fails to train them on proper customer service skills. Additionally, I wish I could get my money back since we paid for 9 and only played 4 holes, but due to this guy being a jerk, we pretty much have zero desire to play. And Kyle, if you are reading this, I hope you understand how moving forward you should conduct yourself, and you should think more carefully about how you treat customers. But generally speaking, go to a different golf course; ex-Skybrook has much nicer staff, and the reviews speak for themselves.

Visiting the area and this course was just what I was looking for. Excellent round and exceeded expectations. Fun, fair layout with lots of interesting shots and scenery. Some tee boxes are in the process of repair but the majority of the course and the greens are a 9/10 for the average player. Great time!!! I need to come in afternoon for the beer garden!
