What a great course! The practice areas mid day were fantastic and very expansive plenty of room (again mid-day on a Monday). The tee boxes, fairways and greens were exceptional (there were some weeds in the rough but thankfully I was not in the rough that much today. The 9th hole is a challenge and I lost two balls at the end with that challenging par 5 to end the round. I was able to play my 9 holes in and hour and 45 minutes. Staff was very very friendly and the turkey sandwich was delicious!

Nice Muni, very forgiving course. Staff is amazing! Took my son for his first round beyond a par 3 and those behind us were very patient!

In town for a conference and took a chance on walking on at this course. Glad I did because not only did I have a great time with the guys I paired with but the course was in good condition. Greens were fast, even the fairways had our balls running constantly. Challenging enough to push me but relaxed enough to enjoy an impromptu game. Looking forward to playing again

If it were possible to give this course more than five stars, I would. Charles Sifford has the best options from practice facilities for beginner golfers to shot shaping and target greens on the nine hole course for single digit handicappers. The employees care and that passion permeates to the overall experience. Kudos to James, Jay, Tom, Rick, Jeff, Bobby, Frank, Mary and the entire team for their hard work day-in and day-out to make this such a positive environment. With a recent management company change, there have been noticeable investments in making the course conditions rival private clubs in the area, so hats off to the agronomy team as well. I’ve been fortunate to play some amazing courses in the country and Sifford ranks in the top 5 based on conditions, layout and, most importantly, the people who make it all happen! Keep up the great work.

I want recognize Jay who has worked in the clubhouse for many years. Very professional and responsive every week when I book a tee time. I understand that Jay’s last day is coming up soon. Thank you Jay for everything you’ve done for our weekly foursome over the years. You will be missed and wish you all the best!
