Description

The South Course at Carmel is a modern championship test following Rees Jones's 2009-2011 overhaul, which stretched the course to roughly 7,500 yards. Jones rebuilt tees and greens, relocated holes and introduced dramatic bunkering to heighten shot values. The par-72 design flows through elevation changes with several demanding, uphill par fours and muscular par fives. Fairway corridors are generous but second shots must navigate well-placed hazards and contoured green complexes. Fast Bermuda greens and immaculate conditioning make South one of the Queen City's most exacting member courses.

Played the South course and was blown away by the pristine conditions. Immaculate greens and plush fairways on the course combined with world class facilities and dining at the clubhouse.

Very nice club off of Carmel Rd. in the heart of Charlotte. Went here to watch a USTA pro league. Beautiful clay courts and nice pro shop too. There’s a deck/balcony where you can see pretty much all the courts.
