Had a wonderful time playing golf today at Springdale. The course was in beautiful condition and had spectacular views. The best part of the experience was the friendliness and generosity of the staff. I have to shout out Pat in the pro shop who was incredibly helpful and made my round of golf possible. Thank you Pat!

Springdale Resort is a hidden gem in the mountains. Although somewhat remote, Waynesville is only a 20-minute drive away for those who seek a small-town experience. We stayed in one of the villas which was perfect in every way starting with a beautiful mountain view. Comfortable beds and a full-size kitchen and living room with a fireplace. The Tavern Dining Room has a great menu and the food and service was excellent. The golf course ranks in the top 50 for Public Golf courses in the country for 2026 offering a good challenge even for the best of golfers. Most importantly, the entire staff from housekeeping to the golf pro shop to waitresses and front desk personnel are very friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

Wow- the place to stay- Beautiful resort with a Great restaurant and a nice golf course. The rooms were great- fully equipped, service was great, staff was super helpful and friendly. Golf cart transportation to the main building made things super easy. Our 2nd trip to Springdale and we are coming back!!

Drove 6 hrs to play here based off reviews and couldn’t be more dissatisfied. Course is beautiful and the staff is wonderful but pace of play was abysmal. Only got through 13 holes in over 4 hours before I gave up. If you have 6 hrs in you to play around come check them out because as I said course is gorgeous but can’t recommend this to anyone due to pace of play.

Our experience at Springdale Resort was truly exceptional. The resort is a beautiful and convenient place to stay, but what truly makes it special is the outstanding hospitality and the people who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Wendy is, without a doubt, the heart and soul of the resort. From the moment we arrived, she made my family feel like we were part of her own family—not simply customers or guests. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our stay incredibly memorable. Exceptional hospitality like hers is what sets a resort apart. I would also like to recognize Curt from management. Although I did not have the opportunity to meet him in person, we communicated by phone, and he was consistently professional, organized, helpful, and extremely responsive. His dedication to providing excellent service was evident throughout our stay. I also want to recognize Carter, a young gentleman who was working at the outdoor food shop. He consistently demonstrated a positive attitude, great energy, and a willingness to help. He assisted my family with getting to the restaurant each day and always greeted us with a smile and a positive attitude. I believe Carter would be an excellent addition to the main restaurant team, particularly in a Food & Beverage management role. His enthusiasm and welcoming personality could have a very positive impact on the restaurant atmosphere. The food was good, but I believe the restaurant could benefit from creating an even warmer and more welcoming atmosphere for guests. Having someone with Carter’s positive energy and hospitality would certainly help enhance that experience. For golfers and cigar enthusiasts, Springdale Resort is definitely a destination worth considering. There is something special about the overall experience and atmosphere. We are already looking forward to returning in December. Thank you to the entire Springdale Resort team—especially Wendy, Curt, and Carter—for making our family feel so welcome and appreciated.
