Description

Silo Run rolls across former dairy farmland with long, straight par 4s and a few risk-reward decisions where elevation subtly affects club selection. The back tee yardage stretches to roughly 6,950 yards, and the layout is known locally as a 'hidden Piedmont powerhouse' thanks to firm, fast bentgrass greens. Bunkers guard several landing areas, and No. 9 is a memorable 642-yard par 5 that rewards two precise shots before a demanding approach. Conditions have improved under recent management, and the course offers a full practice setup for tuning up before the round. Despite the length from the tips, multiple tees and open driving corridors make it playable for a wide range of golfers.

Heading back to Ohio from visiting family south of Charlotte and found this gem! Course has a ton of character, extremely friendly staff and exceptional prices! $25 for 18 & a cart on new years day! I would be fine paying $39 if it includes a free hot dog 😁

Course is a little off the beaten path, but a good layout with greens that are receptive, cart paths are smoother than other courses in the area. A couple of holes are more than just a little interesting. Tee times can be challenging on weekends, but the rates are good and the staff are friendly.

I played 18 holes here with my brother and uncle. The course was well maintained and a lot of fun to play. The staff was great. One down side is they didn’t have any clubs for rent or a clear map of the holes. For the first time playing it was challenging to know the course. Overall I’d highly recommend this course anytime.
