Carolina National Golf Club is an absolute gem. The layout is a ton of fun to play. Every hole feels different and the courses flow beautifully. It’s challenging without being frustrating, which makes it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Course conditions were excellent. The greens rolled true, fairways were in great shape, and the overall attention to detail really stood out. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the course. The staff were just as impressive as the course itself - friendly, welcoming, and clearly proud of the property. From the moment I arrived, everyone was helpful and accommodating, which made the entire experience even better. I had the opportunity to spend time photographing the property, and it was a pleasure to capture. The variety of holes, water features, and scenic views made it incredibly photogenic, and the light throughout the day only added to the experience. Whether you’re there to play, enjoy the views, or both, Carolina National is a place you’ll want to come back to.

I’m a native of Brunswick County. Played at Carolina National several times over years. Have always enjoyed playing there. My group played there August 30. Have to say the conditions were the best I’ve seen at the course. Really enjoyed the round. We did have two issues. The first being the GPS system in the cart. Several times while we were on the putting green with the carts parked on the cary path, the alarms in the carts would go off for driving the cart in a forbidden area. This is not the reason for a boy four stars. The lower rating is because of the starter, Mr Fred. His employee has no manners when speaking to people and down right nasty in his approach to guiding customers. Our group was eight players, all locals, one more sarcastic remark from Mr. Fred and would have asked for refunds and left. Please give Mr Fred some guidance in dealing with customers or have a new starter.

Just finished the Heron 9. Very scenic, fun 9 holes to play. Not too difficult but not too easy with plenty of tees to choose from. Friendly staff. Some parts of course are painted green because of dormant Bermuda but doesn't effect play. Greens are in good shape and extremely puttable. Playing Ibis 9 next and will follow up with review. Great value for the money. Only $46 for 18 holes.

Sept 2025. We were on vacation in the area. We played the course twice. Course is upscale and in great shape! Challenging but not overly difficult. Carts were very nice and equipped with GPS. Staff were excellent and very welcoming and friendly. Can't beat it for the price range! Highly recommend!!

For 65 $ really good golf course conditions were excellent staffing. very friendly. not busy at all. would easily come back if and when I'm in the area
