Not sure where the "country club" partvof their name comes from. Nothing here says country club. No locker rooms, restaurant, pool or amenities. Beautiful course with challenging holes, especially on the back side. Greens were in perfect condition. A bit soggy around the greens. Need better signage. Many holes are hard to find. Hole 4 is to the left of the club house. Hole 10 has you going behind the club house to hit over the water and turn around to getvto the green. Be sure to bring your own food and drinks, and there is basically nothing in the pro shop. (Some canned sodas and pre-made sandwiches.) Not a lot of communication from the people in the pro shop. Just interesting, overall.

For the money you can’t get a whole lot better. Love the layout and since the first time I plaid here in March the course conditions continue to improve and they are constantly working on it. Clubhouse isn’t the best and I wish they would open the range but, still for $40, can’t beat it.

This is the first time I played this course and honestly, when I first pulled up I was not impressed, as the first 3 holes surround an irons only driving range. (I was -1 thru 3 btw) The "real" course is behing the clubhouse. Onto the review. Tee Boxes 4/5 - I don't recall any glaring problems, the ground is just hard. The tee boxes don't share the same grass as the fairways, it seems to be a centipede mix. It is well kept though. Fairways 4/5 - Again, no glaring issues, it's just not particularly plush, so it's tight lies. Shots get significant bounce and rollout as a result. Greens 5/5 - The greens were solid all around the course, running at a 10. Shots checked up nice, and slopes weren't overly complicated or punishing except 17. Bunkers 5/5 - Honestly I was in a single bunker all day and that was on 18. It was so soft that my ball plugged. But no rocks, plenty of sand and easy to get a club through. Rough 2/5 - The "rough" was more like the leftover are after they cut the fairways. Often close to trees, so roots came into play, as well as some bare spots. Layout 4/5 - If the first 3 holes didn't exist, this would get a 5, but they do, and it affects the overall aesthetic. That being said, behind the clubhouse feels like a different course. 5 greens border the same body of water, a massive lake that splits the back 9. Some pretty significant elevation changes lengthen/shorten some holes considerably. Amenities 3/5 - I mentioned the iron length driving range. There is a putting green bordering the lake in back. Overall, for $45 it was worth the play. I managed an eagle on hole 16 so I definitely want to come back.

They are doing a great job getting this course back in shape. Greens are looking and playing great! This course is really going to look great once spring hits. And for those complaining about food options... Pack a sandwich 🤦🏽

I am so glad this course is coming back to what it used to be. The greens are excellent, they run true, fast but not unreasonable. Of course, this time of year the fairways are brown but that's how it is everywhere. I always loved the layout of this course. It is hard enough to enjoy without being ridiculous. I am so glad it is a place I want to play again.
