As an avid golfer, I recommend ownership review their current staffing and perhaps not put one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever met at the public-facing register during a busy weekend. If this happened to be the owner working the register earlier today (7/11), I’m concerned about the customer service standards being upheld. Especially as a female golfer, maybe try greeting a customer to make them feel welcome before reprimanding them for having clubs at the counter when such policies aren’t clearly posted. Decent course otherwise.

Great place to relax and hit a couple of buckets of balls!! I've yet to play a round of golf here but I have heard good things. The prices are from 1998!! Really!! Regular people playing golf. No pro attitude shop. Just regular people getting a little better at a sport they love. I've been twice and had a great experience both times. Going to play 9 holes soon. Looking forward to the experience..

I recently visited Knights Play Golf Center in Apex, NC, and had an excellent experience. The course is well-maintained, affordable, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it enjoyable for players of all skill levels. One of the things I liked most was how accessible and welcoming the entire facility felt. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The par-3 course is perfect for improving your short game, practicing irons, or just enjoying a casual round of golf without spending an entire day on the course. It’s also great for families, groups of friends, or anyone wanting a more laid-back golf experience. The driving range was another highlight. There was plenty of space, the mats and hitting areas were in good condition, and it was a great place to work on consistency and accuracy. You can tell the facility is designed for golfers who genuinely enjoy practicing and improving their game. The lighting for evening play was also excellent, making it easy to continue practicing after work or later in the day. What really stands out about Knights Play Golf Center is the value. Compared to many golf courses and driving ranges, the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the facility and how much you can practice. It’s rare to find a golf center that combines affordability, convenience, and a fun atmosphere this well. Overall, I highly recommend Knights Play Golf Center in Apex, North Carolina for anyone looking for a quality golf course, driving range, or fun place to practice golf. Great staff, well-kept grounds, fair prices, and an enjoyable atmosphere make this one of the best golf spots in the area. I’ll definitely be returning regularly.

My experience at Knights Play Golf Center was extremely disappointing. The only positive I can mention is that the cart paths appear to be new. Unfortunately, everything else fell well short of expectations. The biggest issue was the condition of the course. There was so much sand on the fairways and greens that it often felt like there was more sand than grass. Even worse, simply walking on the greens permanently stained my tennis shoes green. These weren't old shoes—they cost me $80—and now they're ruined because the color won't come out. To top it off, the prices are far too expensive for the condition of the course. When you're paying premium prices, you expect a course that is well maintained, not one where the playing surfaces can permanently damage your footwear. I left frustrated, with a pair of ruined $80 shoes and feeling like I paid far more than the experience was worth. I hope they course improves its maintenance because, in its current condition, I can't recommend playing here.
