Course is pretty nice very beautiful views greens are a bit inconsistent but thats how most munis are, staff was rude and didn't cooperate with me. Range balls felt like i was hitting a marshmallow and very overpriced. But there are some good deals in the proshop. Pace of play ⬇️

Nice course, some holes are tough. Greens were nice but the staff is a little annoying. They require one dollar deposits for carts, and you can’t use a credit card with their 5 dollar minimum (seems like a way for them to make more money). My tee time was at 2:29 and the starter wasn’t there till 2:40 just to tell my buddy he needed to rent clubs so we started at 2:50. Edit - staff is worse than I thought. I had to argue with a guy to get my dollar deposit back for the cart key. It’s ridiculous that you have to argue for your own money back.

This is one of the better-conditioned muni options in Westchester, and it shows. Fairways have some shape to them, greens are typically in good shape, and there’s enough elevation change to keep things interesting without being over the top. Off the tee, it asks for some thought—you can’t just mindlessly swing driver everywhere. A few holes reward placement over distance, which I like. Greens are fair, not tricked up, but you still need to hit your spots. Overall, it’s a dependable track where a good round actually feels earned.

Just took me 47 minutes to play two hole and am currently waiting behind two group on the third. There is no spacing between tee times making playing impossible. You would also think after raising the prices of the round by $7 there would be more greens upkeep, better tee boxes, and more time between each tee time round. Awful time and hope something changes soon.

Sprain is a nice local (public) course that's very conveniently located in Yonkers NY. The fairways and greens were in really good shape, especially considering how hot and dry it has been. Wooded and scenic with a moderate challenging course. Not a lot of bunkers and a few water traps. Great for all levels of play. I base my reviews on convenience of location and price. Update-May2023 The course is in beautiful shape, scenic and enjoyable to play.
