Great country course very friendly staff. Fairways and greens are well maintained. Some par 4's are definitely drivable which is fun to try and hit a green. Very scenic views on the front nine.

What to say about this lovely establishment. Fantastic course! Great, well manicured greens - good enough to eat off. Which I wouldn’t do as someone scolded me for trying, but either way, really nice. The golf carts absolutely fly. I had one of those bad boys up to around the sound barrier and it still would have gone faster. Also got scolded for that, so please drive at a respectable pace and “respect all guests.” Lovely plants and trees surround the property so someone there must have a general knowledge of horticulture. The clubhouse boasts a robust atmosphere, whatever that means but they do have a full bar which is very much needed after basking in the hot summer heat and shotgunning Keystones out on the grounds. There’s a massive black bear hanging out on the ceiling rafter so be careful when approaching. It seemed somewhat sluggish but you never know. After proudly reaching one of the highest scores ever seen at Golden Oak I was kindly informed that when playing golf you actually want a smaller number on the scorecard. Learned a valuable thing that day, it’s not about the highest score, it’s about the friends you made along the way. I owe Golden Oak so much.

Beautiful course. Well maintained and fun to play

Nice local/rural course in Windsor, NY. Relaxed, fast greens, an island green which is fun. Facilities could be a smidge more streamlined. However it may have been the time of day visited that seemed scarce. For the price, well worth the money and time. Some elevation changes add to it's charm. Some sand traps and water hazards keep things narrow on a few holes, otherwise nice wide fairways. Two thumbs up, fine holiday fun. 👍👍
