Difficult but well kept course. Front 9 is narrow and requires a strong drive to avoid hazards. The back 9 is much more open but still has a good number of hazards that require a strong 2nd and 3rd shot.

I cannot wait to go play this amazing golf course again. A first class experience all around .

This is a 5 star robert trent jones jr layout. Honestly after the first few holes I was thinking that my (extremely high expectations) might not be satisfied however the beauty of the course as well as the great design met my high expectations. I liked the course because it was challenging but never once felt unfairly so (I am a high handicapper). Also there was great variety in holes, some links style and some parkland and each hole was memorable. The course gets alot of play. Some of the (par 3) tee boxes were very chopped up and some greens had some marks but it was easily overlooked.

If you are seeking a true 18 championship hole layout with raw carry tests; and a variation between tree lined fairways and links style golf all in one, book here. The rate of golf is well justified and you will get your championship fix and then some. There is a strong probability that strokes will be left out there but the 19th hole options will make up for it. As a lodge guest, it is very convenient being right beside the course. Pace of play was exceptional and quality of course can't be emphasized enough. My hat goes off to the greenskeeper and his hard working staff that make this course look like something out of a postcard.

Great course, beautiful landscaped. Most holes are isolated from other holes. Keep the ball in play, or you will lose many in the surrounding fescue and wooded areas. We played this in a"scramble" outing. Can't wait to go back and play as an individual.
