My husband and i went to valentines dinner thinking they had a special valentines menu and looks nice. It was a beautiful property, nicerestaurant. Our food was absolutely terrible, I ordered the shrimp and scallops scampi, it tasted like beef gravy was on the noodles and there was a lot of red pepper flakes on it, the 3 shrimp I did eat had no flavor. My husband ordered prime rib, fries and asparagus. The asparagus was the best part of his dinner. 😔 I tried his prime rib, cooked well without flavor. When I server came back to our table I made her aware the scampi and noodles was not edible, they "generosly" only charged me $15 for the . Shrimp I ate....very disappointed. If there's a "special" menu for an event like Valentines dinner it should at least closly resemble said meal.

Offers fantastic cross country skiing and snowshoeing open to the public. They rent skis and snowshoes if you don't have your own. Trails are groomed and lighted at night! The night skiing opportunity is particularly unique. I don't know of anywhere else that offers night xc-skiing on groomed and lighted trails, which is a particularly beautiful way to see the wood/trails. They also have a couple of lean-to shelters with fire pits. On certain days (weekends? Not sure if there is a particular schedule) they light bonfires for skiers enjoyment at the shelters. I lead a high school outdoors club and we have been coming here annually for probably close to 30 years (I've been involved for 21). It's always a great experience for beginners and experienced skiers alike. I highly recommend!

The staff were excellent from the reception and right through to the pro shop. The girls at breakfast Lily and her co worker were very friendly and helpful with everything.Overall our group can’t wait to come back next year. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the covered porch is top notch. Meals had a great selection and were very good. Thanks for your hospitality

Just completed my twentieth 2 night, 3 day unlimited golf trip at Byrncliff. As always, the course was in great shape, the food and service was fantastic. Special shout out to Eric & Mike in the pro-shop and starter Vince. Looking forward to the next trip!

Many thanks to the entire team at Byrncliff for a wonderful Easter brunch. We were seated on time in a room with windows overlooking the property. Our server, Mikhai, was very helpful with anything we needed including drinks, the gluten free desserts, and even taking a photo of our entire group of 12. There was plenty of room between tables so we didn't feel crowded. The buffet was delicious, with extra credit for the fresh fruit, salad bar, lemon water, and gluten free desserts. Our thanks to everyone including the hostesses, wait staff and kitchen team for making this an enjoyable day for our family.
