Another course that I love going to, customer service is outstanding and the course is beautiful 😍 this course is closer to my house so I've been here multiple times and has never disappointed! Love this place

When I arrive at the course they make it feel like home, the staff is great and accommodating. The course has improved over the years and makes for a challenging round. Whether you want to play a competitive match or have fun with the boys, Rome Country Club is the place to do that!

I am reviewing this course from the perspective of an out-of-towner looking for a course to play while traveling through the area. The good news: Conveniently located just off the highway. Well maintained fairways and greens. Excellent routing. Some interesting holes. Small stream runs through or along several holes that make club selection critical. The back tees stretch the course to 6800+ yards, so long hitters should enjoy. (I'm not a member of that fraternity.) Played 18 holes for under $50, so good value for the money. Nevertheless, I didn't warm up to the course. Awful bunkers and bunkering, which is not unusual for a Cornish designed course because most of his clients were municipal courses. The signature par 3 sixteenth hole is a horrible golf hole. But my biggest beef with this course is that the website describes the course as a Golf Digest 4-star course. It is no more than an average course for an average price.

Even if you have a bad shot, you end up with a "Great Shot" Every hole is unique & challenging in it's own way! VERTICAL Yard Signage would be hugely beneficial as well as more prominent RED & GOLD Tee Boxes. 😉

It was a nice regular chorus. Not anything special here or difficult. A little bit pricey for what you get.
