Yesterday played here, it is a very beautiful course, well-maintained. Fairways are nicely cut and greens are in beautiful condition and rolling. Its a tough course and fairways are narrow. Water hazard are beautifully placed. You can enjoy playing here. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Pro shop staff is very helping. Restrooms' are clean and clubhouse is well groomed. Very nice course must play here, definitely returning back soon.

Just a great layout. The greens were tough. Cut close and fast. Course was in great shape. My one thumbs down was the sand traps. It's a common thing on Long Island. We live on a large sand bar? It was a great course and a great day.

I’m a 4 handicap who used to play here alot but lately it’s one of the worst managed and maintained golf courses I’ve ever been to. Tee boxes and Fairway are destroyed, The employees who were working cutting in the sand traps. Would not move out of the fairway or stop running the gas hedger while I was hitting my approach shot less than 10 feet away from them this was happening on several holes. I understand that work has to be done to Keep the course in well maintained condition but maybe put a sign in the clubhouse so people know but they just seem to worried about the $$$$ and not the quality of the course or satisfaction of the customers. There was no starter out on the course maintaining place of play or enforcing groups of two to play together when the pace is going extremely slow. I played an off season round on a Tuesday that took over 5 hours, when it wasn’t very busy. My group had to wait on every single shot.

Played The Woods a couple of weeks ago. Fairways in terrible shape. Worst I have ever seen it. It’s like they don’t care about maintaining the course anymore. Still charged full price for a course in second rate condition. If they are going to charge full price, they need to provide a course that is in comparable shape to other courses in that price range. Unless they start to maintain it better, this course is definitely not worth the money.

Well groomed course, challenging, nice layout. Really enjoyed playing golf there.
