Amazing course! Not a fan of the people on the board of the club. It was a wide open morning today no one on the course, we had 4 people in our group and our friend was also there playing singles. After a few holes we had him join up with us because absolutely nobody was around our group, we played the rest of the front nine in under 2 hours, on 9 we got stopped by a ranger who said he didn’t mind us playing 5 because we were flying through the round. We get through the next 5 holes in an hour and another ranger comes up to us and told us the people on the board are not happy we are playing 5 because it’s against the rules. Sounds like a bunch of salty guys… 4 holes left, no one in site behind us, and playing under a 4 hour 18 pace. Let people have some fun, this course would have been a 5/5 if the owners/board members could enjoy them selfs a little. Very disappointing we will never spend another $1 here

The course is in great shape for late April. The greens were aerated recently but they honestly were the best aerated greens I think I’ve ever played on. They have made good changes over the last few years by taking some trees down etc (I still think the tree on 13 should go) Practice area is the best in the Hudson valley for a public course unfortunately you can only use it if you are playing but get the early to get some practice in if that’s your thing. Some holes can feel repetitive at times but the more you play the more you start to see different windows and learn the subtleties of the greens. The atmosphere is good for a public course and not full of drunks or slow play which is rare. Pro shop is curated nicely with good brands. Definitely stop by.

2 stars because we were not warned that the course was badly burned out, the greens were mostly lost, and they had recently aerated with an abundance of sand. We liked playing this course in years past but not in good shape currently. Perhaps a discount on greens fees or even a warning in the pro shop would've been nice. We will try again next year.

The course does not match the price for greens fees. This course is comparable to 40-55 dollar per round courses. 120+ dollars for a course with average greens and fairways is ridiculous. Also, the course is 90% dog legs too.

Really nice and fun layout but not for the long hitters.
